Spacious and comfortable room for our family of three. The management was helpful and assisted us with our luggage. Appreciated having 2 English language TV stations. The dinners in the restaurant were delicious. The location was great, surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we would recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

This hotel has large rooms and very friendly staff and management.

Friendly staff, great location for us as looking for a quiet place. Very near to the castles as well. Clean comfortable room. We had booked a double room and when we arrived we were told we had booked the last room and were given the apartment for the duration at no extra charge.

Landhotel Huberhof is a family-run guesthouse located near a small lake, beautiful fields and is convenient for anyone wishing to tour the castles nearby or those who wish to ride bicycles or go hiking. I liked the authentic Bavarian architecture and decor. Breakfast was wonderful with all sorts of meats, cheeses, breads, and even scrambled eggs. Our arrival was pleasant as we checked in with the host at the front desk who spoke English. We booked two rooms: one single and one double.

The bathroom's shower was tiny. My room did not have a balcony or terrace - it was a single room on the third floor. The double room did have a balcony. There is no elevator so it would be difficult for those who need help in getting their luggage up & down the stairs. I had one window and no fan, so it was warm and uncomfortable during the summer day but at night it did cool off. The noise from the adjacent street was bothersome with the window open. A room fan would be a big help.

The staff at the reception was very helpful. The meals proposed by the hotel restaurant were very good, with generous portions. Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience.

As the hotel is located in the country-side (where there are cows and horses), there were a lot of flies milling about in the dining and kitchen areas. The staff should make more efforts to protect the exposed food from flies, particularly for the breakfast buffet.

the value for money is exceptional. For such a reasonable price, we were delighted with the basic amenities provided, including the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms with a view of the parking lot. The location couldn't have been more perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the stunning Lake Forrgensee. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable from start to finish. But the highlight had to be the delicious breakfast, which was a true feast to start the day.

Lovely traditional hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic close to a lovely village with plenty of shops & eateries. The hotel overlooks a huge lake which was great for walking our 2 dogs who were very welcome at the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice.

The building and grounds were beautiful, set in a lovely landscape with great mountain views. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with great quality food and service in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and we will definitely come back again. Thanks!

The hotel's location is definitely a plus, as there are beautiful views of mountains, a lake, and a castle in the distance. the hotel is located within walking distance of the castle and lake. the room was clean and the service was attentive.

The WiFi was unreliable and the flies were very bothersome due to the hotel's proximity to the farm fields.

This hotel is well placed for all activities,set around a large lake with wounderful views over the mountains. Good size accommodation, including catering facilities if required,but very good breakfasts.Great base and good value,would certainly recommend for an enjoyable few days stay in the area.

Due to the turnover of visitors the room could have been a little cleaner,ie the upholstery on the seating area,general carpets but generally very good. plenty of towels,clean bedding etc. also good

This hotel in Schwangau is a real gem! the location is fantastic, just a short walk from Lake Forrgensee, where you can enjoy beautiful views. The staff here are amazing, offering great service and making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Secondly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, with a nicely equipped kitchen and a balcony to relax on. Lastly, the breakfast provided is delicious and offers a variety of options to suit everyone's tastes, from muesli and yogurt to eggs and sweet treats.

It's a fair hotel, although less attractive that we thought it would be. Rooms have no sound proof, there is no refrigerator in the room, but the breakfast is ok and the room is reasonable big.

Really enjoyed the fact that this was an old homestead that was converted to a hotel. It was comfortable and homey - very warm and friendly. The food was very good, and the breakfast was plentiful, and was part of the rate. We felt like we were staying with friends in their home, rather than in a hotel. We would stay here again, if the opportunity exits.

No complaints or concerns. We did need to ask for soap, though that was very minor.
